Magic: The Gathering x Final Fantasy: A Match Made in Heaven!?!?!

OMG! Wizards of the Coast, they actually did it! I’m still kinda freaking out, you know? They announced a collab between Magic: The Gathering and Final Fantasy! Seriously, I almost dropped my phone. The MTG x Final Fantasy set is supposed to drop early 2025, and I’m already counting down the days. Like, seriously counting. I even made a countdown calendar. It’s kinda embarrassing, but whatever.

A Match Made in Heaven (or, like, Vana’diel?)

This MTG x Final Fantasy set is, like, the coolest thing ever. It’s got Magic cards with Final Fantasy art – it’s a total dream come true! The theme is “Wonders of Gaia,” which is totally fitting, right? It’s all about the magical and fantastical stuff from Final Fantasy. I’m already picturing my deck… it’s gonna be epic.

Card Types and Rarities – So Many Choices!

There’s gonna be all sorts of cards: creatures, instants, sorceries, enchantments – the whole shebang! And the rarities? Common to mythic rare – I’m hoping to pull a mythic rare Chocobo, that would be insane! I’m already saving up my allowance… and maybe selling some of my old cards. Don’t judge me!

Okay, so I got a sneak peek at some cards, and I’m losing it. Seriously.

• Chocobo Creature Card: A rare Chocobo card! OMG, I NEED IT. It’s gonna be my new favorite card, no question.
• Moogle Planeswalker: A limited edition Moogle planeswalker?! This is not a drill, people! I’m already planning my display case for this bad boy.
• Ifrit Instant: A common Ifrit card. It’s still awesome, though! It’s gonna be great for burn decks, I think. I’m not great at deck building, but I’ll figure it out.
